This Pol Roger champagne bucket dating to around 1900 is crafted from silver plated brass or a copper alloy and features bold raised lettering framed by finely engraved bands. Pol Roger is one of the great historic champagne houses, and branded buckets like this were supplied to restaurants and hotels as part of their table service. The surface shows a mellow, timeworn patina that adds depth and character, recalling the elegance of early hotel service and grand dining rooms. Its vine themed handles with sculpted rings celebrate the heritage of winemaking and were a popular decorative choice for fine tableware, lending both symbolism and refinement to the piece.
This bucket brings instant atmosphere to a bar cart, sideboard, or outdoor table. It can be used to chill bottles, hold cut flowers, or serve as a sculptural accent in a kitchen or dining room. Whether paired with glassware and candles for festive gatherings or displayed as a decorative object on its own, it offers a sense of heritage and understated glamour that enriches both contemporary and traditional interiors.
