This delightful Provençal cruche features a lovely pea-green demi glaze and dates from the early twentieth century. Note its charming pale yellow glaze on the inside. There are two handles for carrying and a little spout. Glazed terracotta ewers like these were used for fetching water from the village fountain for domestic use. Today, this would make a delightful addition to a collection of pottery to add a touch of Provence to your home. Note minor wear to glaze as seen in photos.
