This rare decorative lamp dates from the late 18th-early 19th century. Originally the lamp oil was in the reservoir inside. The bronze and marble lamp is decorated with sphinxes and lion heads. The pretty bronze feet are gilded. This would look fabulous displayed in a glass door cabinet or on a mantelpiece.

Condition and patina consistent with age.


Approximate dimensions of 7" diameter (without handles), 8¼" diameter (with handles), 8¼" diameter at base, 26" circumfrence at base, 15" high and weight of approximately 15kg.
