Refined Venetian Engraved Glass Mirror w/ Shaped Crest, 1950s - 32¼" x 20½"

This small Venetian mirror was probably made in Murano, Italy, during the 1950s. The shaped crest and rectangular frame are bordered with twisted glass canes and delicate beaded edging, enclosing wheel-engraved mirrored panels decorated with scrolling foliate motifs. Applied glass flowers and stylized leaves accent the crest and corners, several retaining a soft champagne tint with traces of gilding that lend warmth and subtle depth to the composition. The mirror remains in good vintage condition, with bright, crisp glass, slight movement to the two lower applied leaf ornaments, and minor age-related wear to the high points.
