This lovely timeworn sign dates from the 1900s. It has the letters RF over the blue white and red of the French flag, in a coat of arms with an architectural stylized crown on top. An oak wreath frames the sign. Signs like these were displayed in the mayor's offices across France (and are still used today).
Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
