The dark wooden frame has graceful Louis XV-inspired curves, with a scalloped apron decorated with carved scrolls and a central cartouche. A row of darkened brass studs neatly outlines the upholstery. The footstool is in good antique condition, with slight discoloration to the tapestry in places and light wear to the wood.
