Dating from the nineteenth century, this superb, large, round Napoleon III globe houses was assembled to celebrate a wedding. Note the bird with the wreath in its beak symbolizing happiness. The flower buds are made from wax. This is a rare find due to its size and as it is round rather than oval.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
