The form is defined by a broad, fan-shaped backplate with gently flared sides and a rounded crest, set above two rounded, pierced cups joined at the center. The warm straw-yellow glaze is enlivened by rust-toned slip decoration, applied in a loose and rapid hand as zigzag lines along the upper edge and vertical trailing strokes down the front of each cup. Two small pierced holes at the top allow it to be hung with a cord or wire. The piece shows a timeworn surface with small rim chips, scattered glaze losses, and light wear consistent with age and use.
