Large terracotta bowl with wildflowers from the French Alps - 13" diameter

Dating from the start of the twentieth century, this delightful Savoyard serving platter or shallow bowl features a rich black glaze and mountain flowers decorating the center. The outer edges are decorated with classic Savoyard lines and squiggle glaze in a pale yellow color. The back features tiny holes once used to help fix it to a wall. A beautiful artisan accent to bring the Savoy region of France to your walls.
