Dating from the start of the twentieth century, a superb and charming Savoyard spotted pitcher. The interior is fully glazed with the same sunny custard yellow color used for the spots on the outside. The pitcher features a slightly bulbous form which tapers near the middle and flares out at the top.
There is a single handle and shapely pouring beak. This antique French spotted pitcher will make a delightful addition to any kitchen or decorative display for fresh flowers. If using as a vase for fresh flowers, please place a watertight container inside first. Please note minor chip to glaze on beak as seen in photos.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
