Sculptural French Hand-Made Wrought-Iron Armillary Sphere, Mid-20th Century - 25½"

A striking wrought-iron armillary sphere, likely French and dating to the mid-20th century. Composed of fully articulated concentric rings surrounding a central axis, it rises on a turned baluster stem above finely forged scrolling feet and a circular base engraved with concentric orbits. The forged iron displays subtle hammer marks and a rich matte patina that beautifully highlight the quality of the craftsmanship. The piece remains in very good condition, with gentle surface wear and scattered oxidation consistent with age.
