A charming set of twelve antique French handblown stemmed glasses from the early 20th century, full of character and traditional craftsmanship. Each glass displays subtle variations in form, with gentle waviness and small air bubbles trapped within the glass: these are hallmarks of hand production and contribute to the set's unique, lively presence. Such glasses were typically used in French bistros to serve apéritifs and absinthe.
The glasses have a pleasing weight in the hand, with thickened bases and well-balanced proportions that feel both sturdy and refined. Under each base, a small cross-shaped incision is visible, likely a glassblower’s mark, adding an extra layer of authenticity and interest.
The surface shows very light staining and fine scratches consistent with age and use, but no chips, preserving their integrity and usability.
A beautifully tactile and evocative set, ideal for serving apéritifs or digestifs, and equally appealing as part of a rustic or traditional table setting, bringing a touch of early 20th-century French bistro charm to the table.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
