An elegant and rustic set of four nineteenth-century antique chairs with upholstered seats from Sweden. The beige linen fabric is new since the 1800s, and the paint (also redone over time) is a chic grey-beige color. The wood is beechwood.
Note the charming cabriole front legs and the straight back legs. This style of chair ideally would be positioned against a wall flanking a console in an entryway. They also would make a lovely addition to a dining room or kitchen in both traditional and modern interiors. Seat height: 19" or 47cm.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
