Émile Tessier (1870-1950) was a renowned French ceramicist famous for his contributions to white glazed ceramics in the early 20th century. He was born in Tours, France, and later established his own workshop in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, a town with a rich tradition in pottery.

Tessier’s work is particularly noted for its pristine white glaze, often embellished with motifs such as the fleur-de-lis, delicate twists, and simple floral decorations.
