Set of Eight Antique French Porcelain Baking and Serving Dishes

This graduated set of eight French porcelain baking and serving dishes by Revol comprises four round and four oval examples in a range of practical sizes. Finished in a warm ivory glaze, each dish features opposing shell-form lug handles with delicately molded detailing, a hallmark of the classic French plat à oreilles. The undersides bear the Céramique Revol mark. The glaze has developed a soft, timeworn patina, with light crazing and a few stable hairlines visible on some pieces, together with gentle surface wear consistent with decades of use. Overall, the set remains in very good vintage condition. 

Founded in 1768 in Saint-Uze in the Drome region, Revol is one of France's oldest porcelain manufacturers, long celebrated for producing durable oven-to-table cookware for both professional kitchens and the home.
