Set of four beautiful 19th-century Medici urns

This superb set of four cast iron riveted Medici urns feature their original faded green patina dating from at least the nineteenth century, France. These urns feature an eighteenth century-style form flaunting large scrolled handles finished with flowers and acanthus leaves flanking on either side of their molded and decorated bases.

The elements are fastened together using rivets instead of screws or bolts. Compared to screws, rivets hold much better and reduce vibration during transport thus making a durable, long-lasting piece. A lovely choice to add antique charm and symmetry to a garden or tablescape.
