A set of four French stemmed glasses dating from the early 20th century, suitable for champagne and apéritifs. Each features a tall flute-shaped bowl with a subtle waist, raised on a short stem with a small ball knop and circular foot. Subtle variations in form, faint seed bubbles, and delicate waviness in the glass attest to their handmade origins. Presented in very good condition, with light wear consistent with age.
Their elegant silhouette reflects the transition from the decorative traditions of the 19th century to the cleaner lines of the early modern era. Whether used at the table or repurposed as delicate bud vases, they bring a sense of lightness and timeless charm to the home.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
