A charming set of six silver-plated knife rests by Christofle, Paris, dating to the early twentieth century, designed in a naturalistic Art Nouveau style. Each petite rest is modeled as two daisy blossoms joined by a slender bar, with finely detailed petals and gently curling leaves that form stable supports. The silver plate has developed a soft, luminous tone, with warm highlights and subtle variations that catch the light beautifully. Light surface scratches and slight wear to the raised areas remain consistent with careful use. Overall condition is very good, with an appealing, gently aged finish.
Founded in 1830 in Paris, Christofle rose to prominence in the mid nineteenth century after introducing advanced silver-plating techniques, becoming one of the leading makers of luxury tableware in Europe. By the early twentieth century, the house supplied royal households, grand hotels, and ocean liners, and became synonymous with refined taste and technical excellence. This set reflects that legacy, combining precise casting with skilled hand finishing to achieve crisp botanical detail. The floral design captures the Art Nouveau fascination with nature, bringing both function and elegance to the table.
Beautiful on a spring table set with white damask or layered with colored linen, this delicate set lends a graceful, refined touch to place settings from brunch to candlelit dinners.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
