Each square plate features softly scalloped edges with chocolate-brown brushed rims, moulded bundles of asparagus at each corner hand-painted in celadon green with blush-pink tips, and delicate transfer-printed floral bouquets. The crisp relief, fresh palette, and elegant naturalistic motifs embody the sophisticated tableware of the Belle Époque. Each plate is stamped Longchamp Terre de Fer to the underside. Overall, the set is in good antique condition, with a few chips and light staining consistent with age and use.
