A set of three clear glass vessels for olive oil, found by Patricia and Walter Wells at a Florentine flea market and now at home in the Chanteduc kitchen in Vaison-la-Romaine.
Grouped together by Patricia, the collection includes an elegant bottle with round stopper, a matching small jar, and a tapered pourer with a fabulous long pouring spout.
On a kitchen shelf or a well-laid table, they would work equally well holding wine vinegar or a good herb-infused oil. Grouped on a windowsill, their transparency catches the light beautifully. For anyone who takes olive oil seriously — and in Patricia's world, that is everyone — this is a set that is both genuinely useful and genuinely lovely to look at.
Light wear.
