A set of three petite ceramic dishes from the Sarreguemines manufactory in northeastern France, dating to the early to mid-20th century, made in the classic majolica style of naturalistic earthenware.
Each dish is modelled in the form of a cabbage leaf, with finely detailed veins and gently crinkled edges. The glaze ranges from deep green along the raised ribs to softer, lighter green at the edges, with subtle tonal variations that highlight the relief.
They are in very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and a gentle patina settling into the creases, subtly accentuating the naturalistic detailing. Ideal for serving small bites at aperitif, such as olives or nuts, or for display on a kitchen countertop, they bring a touch of relaxed French country elegance to the table or home.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
