A collection of three vintage glass beurriers — individual butter dishes, each found separately at brocantes over the years — gathered together at Chanteduc, Patricia and Walter's farmhouse in Vaison-la-Romaine, where they are displayed in the "Marseille cabinet," a superb antique vitrine in the living room.
Each piece follows the classic French format: a shallow glass plate and a domed cloche with a solid glass knob handle. One of the beurriers is photographed holding capers on page 230 of Patricia's cookbook, Salad as a Meal.
Light wear.
Varying sizes. Largest one is approx. 4¼" high x 5½" diameter externally.
