This set of twelve French bistro stem glasses dates from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Mold-blown in clear glass, each glass displays subtle variations in thickness, tiny air bubbles, faint mold seams, and gentle concentric ripples characteristic of traditional manufacture. The flared conical bowls rest on short knop stems and broad circular feet, giving them a pleasing weight and stability. Several glasses retain traces of their original gilt rim, now softly worn, while others are plain. Overall, the set is in very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and long use.
