An early to mid-20th century champagne bucket in silver-plated metal, of gently flared cylindrical form, raised on a narrow stepped foot. The plain, luminous body is framed by crisp neoclassical borders, with a repeating border of small arches at the rim echoed again at the foot, creating a pleasing sense of balance. A pair of finely cast lion mask handles, each suspending a twisted rope ring, bring sculptural richness to the restrained silhouette. Bold yet elegant, they introduce a note of quiet grandeur while remaining harmoniously integrated into the overall design. The silvered surface retains a soft, timeworn patina, with light surface scratches and polishing marks throughout, minor dimpling, and visible interior wear with some spotting and tarnish consistent with use.
Equally suited to a bar, dining table, or garden setting, it serves beautifully as a champagne cooler, utensil holder, or planter, bringing a touch of understated elegance.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
