This exquisite small-scale Louis XV style parclose (mirrored frame) mirror dates from the nineteenth century. Made from carved wood with a gold leaf finish and a pretty pediment with a floral basket and shell. It has been nicely restored.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
