This charming terracotta pot dates from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century. Its superb round silhouette is evocative of Biot jars that were used for olives and olive oil.

If using as a vase, as the outside of the pot is unglazed, we recommend a watertight container be put inside as condensation can form on the outside of the pot. There is no hole in the base. 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
