This adorable terracotta pot dates from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century. Its superb round silhouette is evocative of Biot jars that were used for olives and olive oil - this one has a more exaggerated neck, finished with green glaze.

If using as a vase, as the outside of the pot is unglazed, we recommend a watertight container be put inside as condensation can form on the outside of the pot. There is no hole in the base.
