Small chunky cutting board flared handle 13½" x 8¼"

This charming French rectangular cutting board dates from the early twentieth century and is carved from a single piece of beechwood. Beechwood is nice and weighty so this can be used for cooking, or as a cheese platter or for serving charcuterie at a small gathering. Note the slightly flared handle and overall wedge shape of the side profile (it doesn't lie completely flat, rater it is slightly sloped).
