Small Émile Tessier vase w/ 4 handles 6¼"

A lovely small vase with four arched handles from the mid twentieth century. It is branded ET France for Émile Tessier. A lovely piece to add to a collection of Emile Tessier ceramics.

Émile Tessier (1887-1971) was a well-known ceramist from Malicorne, Sarthe, in the North of France. He lived through two world wars and the German occupation. He was raised surrounded by potters and ceramicists and eventually established his own atelier.
