This charming little pot was originally used for storing honey and jam with a fabric lid fastened around the lip. It has pale yellow glaze with ocher splashes. It dates from the late nineteenth century and is from Haute Provence. A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
