A late 18th-century French mirror in carved and painted wood, of stately proportions and refined neoclassical design. The frame features restrained classical mouldings and a stepped cornice, its layered paint gently stripped back, revealing warm undertones beneath the soft ivory surface. The mirror plate shows light blooms but remains clear, preserving its function while offering the gentle character expected of the period. Surface wear and minor losses are consistent with age and contribute to its authentic patina.
Elegant and architectural, this mirror brings quiet grandeur above a mantel or console, its balanced lines and understated ornament lending timeless presence to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
