A charming small-scale mirror from the eighteenth century (possibly earlier). Made from carved wood with a timeworn silver leaf finish. The central flower is missing and minor losses and wear. This type of mirror was most likely used in a boudoir.
A lovely choice for a bedroom or powder room.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
