Tall "L'Idéale" French Preserving Bottle, Early 20th Century - 14¼"

This tall French preserving bottle dates to the early 20th century and is embossed "L'Idéale – Modèle Déposé" to the body. Made of thick pale aqua-green glass, it displays the subtle bubbles, gentle waviness, and slight irregularities characteristic of traditional manufacture. The bottle retains its original iron wire swing closure and white glazed ceramic stopper, printed "L'Idéale – Bouteille de Conserve." The glass is clear and bright, the metal hardware has acquired a pleasing timeworn patina, and the original closure operates smoothly. Overall, the bottle remains in very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and no visible chips or cracks.
