A unique storage armoire / vitrine from the late nineteenth-century. The top half has windowed doors for displaying collectibles and storing books. Underneath is hanging space - this would be perfect for an entryway.
Three of the four glass panels are the original glass - you can see little bubbles and irregularities - the bottom right pane has been replaced. The doors open and close by simply rotating the little wooden latch. It is a blonde timber that is wonderfully timeworn. A rare find that will instantly add a touch of French country to any interior.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
