This superb, large Italian trumeau mirror dates from the eighteenth century. The frame is painted with navy blue, sage green, and the decorative adornments are gilded. The patina and glass are original - note there are two glass panes. It is rare to find a very large period trumeau mirror such as this, in original condition - it was originally from an Italian palace.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
