A rare, Art Nouveau Pichon Uzès round pitcher with a colorful swirl glaze from Uzès, France, circa 1900s. This ceramic, glazed disc shaped bottle was made at the renowned Pichon atelier and features loopholes on the sides to string rope through for carrying as well as a flat base for easily resting on a table. The shape is similar to pilgrim bottles.

Note the unique green and yellow swirl glazing technique throughout and the blue star in the center. Small ceramic flowers in a dark glaze decorate the sides of the loop holes. A terrific collector's piece for appreciators of rare French pottery or unique conversion pieces.
