This superb blue and white ceramic apothecary jar has interesting decorative fern-shaped swirls bordering the top and base of the jar. This design also appears on the lid, which has a raised handle in the form of a closed flower. The jar is labeled "Empl." and it was made circa 1970s. Signed "LN" underneath.

This is a special item that would augment a jar collection, a set of blue and white ceramics, or look elegant by itself on a kitchen shelf or bench.
