Chaty Vallauris, a prominent French brand, created distinctive sunburst mirrors in the 1960s and 1970s. Based in Vallauris, known for its pottery and ceramics, the brand became famous for its striking designs. These mirrors typically feature a metal frame with radiating spikes or rays, reflecting the modern aesthetic of mid-century design. Today, they are highly sought after by collectors and interior designers for their unique style.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
