This clay vase with periwinkle blue glaze decorated with flowers is signed by ceramist Dominique Baudart. A piece made while in Die, in the Drôme region of France. Circa 1970.

Extract translated from La Bergerie Céramiques

Settled in Vallauris in 1952, he worked first with Jean Rivier, then at the Vieux Moulin with Malarmey and Perot. Finally, settles alone. Roger Collet resumed his workshop in 1963, which probably corresponds to the departure of Baudart for Die, in the Drôme, where he continued his activity as a ceramist.
