This small vintage wall sconce, probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s, is designed in an Empire-inspired taste, combining a gilt-brass frame with tiers of clear faceted glass pendants. The tall shaped backplate is crowned with a stylized palmette crest, while several strands of faceted crystal beads fall in graceful swags across the upper section. Below, the semicircular brass band forms a basket hung with further faceted crystal beads and elongated clear prisms, while three longer pendants below extend the vertical line and finish the composition with added movement and sparkle. The single light is fitted with a high-quality dimmable flame-effect bulb.
