A stunning French fluted bronze and crystal 8-light candelabra or girandole dating from the twentieth century. The piece is characterized by a pointed finial top, beaded crystal swags, and teardrop pendants delicately draped and suspended from each of the crescent-shaped branches. The sturdy central bronze rod is decorated with repeating glass boules each with intricately etched decoration.
The base is made from gilded metal and decorated with pretty engraved details. Overall, an elegant piece that will light up any room and sparkle with French charm. The lamp is operated using a button switch located on the electrical cord.
Note the piece feels complete despite a two or three missing drops which can be difficult to spot from afar.
Power plug is European.
