A peek into the alpine chalet life of the 1940s/50s, this sturdy pine box was used to transport jugs of milk from Mont Blanc, France, to homes or restaurants. Counting the rings visible in the bottom of the box, this crate held 24 bottles of milk. A practical piece today for storage or restaurant decor, this vintage French milk crate will instantly add a touch of French mountain life charm to your space.
 
Note the natural wood knots as seen in the photos in the bottom surface and one side plank.
