As Patricia says, a butter press was 'THE wedding gift' in the 1950s. It is such a fun piece to use - and very satisfying to press down on the butter and see it curl beautifully through the cutouts. It softens the butter so that it is easier to spread. Branded 'Coquillor' underneath.
