Vintage French ceramic fruit bowl w/ green glaze 12½"

Dating from the 1960s, this lovely round ceramic fruit bowl has a superb viridian green glaze, and a lattice design throughout and a twisted rope border around the top. This ceramic piece was made in Vallauris, France, a Mediterranean coastal town that has been known for ceramics since the nineteenth century and more recently thanks to Picasso and Picault.
