Dating from the 1960s, this lovely ceramic fruit bowl has a superb yellow glaze and a woven basket-like design throughout. The bottom of the piece is stamped Vallauris, a Mediterranean coastal town that has been known for ceramics since the nineteenth-century and more recently thanks to Picasso and Picault.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
