This lovely vintage French cylindrical ceramic vase is decorated with thin vertical yellow and green stripes of over-brown glaze reaching up to near the top of the vase. It was made in the mid-twentieth century around the 1950s/60s. Perhaps from from Savoie region of France due to the nature of the marks left behind on the bottom of the piece indicating how they typically used wire to cut the piece of pottery from the wheel.  

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
