This listing is part of the 'At Home with Patricia Wells' collection of epicurean objects and decorative antiques.

Evocative of Paul Cézanne’s landscape paintings, this superb Provençal village landscape is signed R. Maures, an artist inconnu. Dating from the late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century, this cheerful painting was displayed in the dining room at Chanteduc, Patricia and Walter Wells' farmhouse in Provence.

Patricia recalls acquiring this painting from an antique dealer in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue many years ago - she adores it!
