Dating from the 1960s or 1970s, this charming concrete planter is modelled with generous rounded lobes, creating a simple yet sculptural silhouette. Its restrained form allows the beautifully weathered surface to take center stage, with decades of outdoor exposure producing a richly mottled patina of soft grays, mossy greens, and warm earthy tones. Almost painterly in appearance, this natural finish gives the planter remarkable depth and individuality. Pierced for drainage, it is equally suited to seasonal flowers, aromatic herbs, or sculptural foliage.
Whether placed on a terrace, garden wall, windowsill, or nestled among established planting, its organic form and softly aged surface blend effortlessly into the landscape, lending a quiet, timeless presence to any setting. Minor wear and weathering are consistent with age and outdoor use, enhancing its authentic character. A faint maker's stamp is present on the exterior but is no longer legible.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
