A superb vintage sardine grill basket from Patricia Wells' home in Provence. Crafted from metal, this hinged, double-sided frame opens to house sardines, grilling them over hot coals—a technique used by Patricia for over forty years in her bread oven. More than a cooking tool, its distinctive design and age make it an excellent decorative piece for a kitchen wall or as coastal decor, capturing the essence of the south of France. Patricia affectionately calls this unique item 'a riot!'
