A delightful antique French white-glazed terracotta confit pot with character and original lid dating from the 1900s. Created to be used as a preserving pot, it has a fully glazed interior and two small handles. Today, this would make lovely addition to a display of French pottery. It could even be transformed into a table lamp for a bedside table or living room.
Note chips to glaze as seen in photos. Note dent to side which occurred during the making of the piece before firing of the glaze.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
